PLAYERS & ACADEMY
We successfully running more than 30+ Soccer school centers in different districts in Kerala. We have over 2000+ players in our academy and team and we have been growing at about 25% over the last 3 years. We, over the last 2 seasons, have seen our biggest growth and we are predicting our biggest increase in players ever in 2021 on the back of a stellar 2022 which saw 4 of our 6 competitive sides play finals and 3 of those teams played in grand finals with 2 teams winning and becoming champions.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
LUCA SC Residential Football Academy operates a football program for age groups Under-12 through to Under-18. Before the eligible
age a player can join the Academy as full or part-time student-athletes at the age 12, the LUCA Calcio and LUCA Soccer Schools, that are spread over Malappuram, offer talented boys the chance to train from the age of 5 to 11, before joining the Feeder teams of the Academy from age 13. The soccer program of LUCA Soccer Academy the players to understand the game, show the right attitude in training, know about tactics and what a position demands from them. They need to develop the skills to evaluate the game, read and interpret situations and show tactical intelligence. We challenge players constantly. We put them in a competitive environment and test how fast they adapt to different situations. We encourage players to be creative and to think outside the box. The way they look at situations and the decisions they make is what will differentiate our players from others. We support their professional development by offering the opportunity to train at academies other clubs. We guarantee them the highest level of competition by regularly playing against the best youth teams in tournaments in and outside of Kerala. The Academy’s focus is the long-term development of individual players. A process that should enable them to pursue a career in professional football and to represent the India international level.
